Vericol Overview
Founded in 2019, Vericol has built on its founder’s expertise and market familiarity to build a diverse business in the government contracting industry. Vericol’s founder and CEO has held such roles as Chief Growth Officer and Chief Data Scientist for IT contractors serving the federal government. Vericol’s business is in three areas, as described below.
Business Consulting Services
Vericol provides consulting services to government contractors to help them win work with the federal government. This includes organizational design, process improvement, and policy development. Vericol also helps companies with strategic sales efforts on particular contract opportunities, including market research, solution architecture, and proposal writing.
Data Architecture and Strategy
Vericol offers data architecture and data strategy consulting for commercial companies and government customers. Vericol’s work includes data reconciliation of enrollment data discrepancies between the federal government and insurance companies that participate in the Affordable Care Act/Healthcare.gov. Vericol also works directly with commercial clients to identify opportunities to extract hidden value from their operational and transactional data.
Business Applications for Government Contractors and Professional Services Firms
Vericol is developing a suite of software tools for government contractors, beginning with a sales pipeline management application and a staffing assignment system. Vericol has Beta versions of both applications.
Job Responsibilities
Serve as primary point of contact for clients and internal teams on a variety of proposals and projects. Independently manage full proposal lifecycle activities from capture support to post-submission for complex RFx’s. Manage, communicate, and coordinate with proposal and project teams including client, teaming partner, and internal resources. Responsibilities include:
- Develop outlines and Annotated Mockups (AMUs)
- Conduct compliance reviews
- Work with subject matter experts (SMEs), graphic designers, pricing analysts, and other stakeholders to gather inputs and finalize proposal artifacts
- Technical writing and editing, including content development for all proposal requirements
- Create and manage schedules, collaboration sites and processes, and communicate assignments and expectations
- Proactively identify blockers or risks (schedule, messaging, content, etc.) and escalate quickly and clearly
- Responsible for overall quality of proposal/project submission
- Provide production support and partner with clients on final submission
- Partner with clients to recommend and support refinement of proposal artifacts and processes
- Train and mentor internal and client staff on Vericol-established proposal best practices

Education/Experience
- Required: Bachelor’s Degree
- Desired: Coursework involving persuasive writing, group projects, and spoken presentations/public speaking
- Required: Minimum 5 years’ experience in a federal BD/Growth organization role focused on proposal development, 3 of which were in proposal leadership roles
