Associate Consultant

Arlington, VA · 100% Remote

Vericol Overview

Founded in 2019, Vericol has built on its founder’s expertise and market familiarity to build a diverse business in the government contracting industry. Vericol’s founder and CEO has held such roles as Chief Growth Officer and Chief Data Scientist for IT contractors serving the federal government. Vericol’s business is in three areas, as described below.

Business Consulting Services

Vericol provides consulting services to government contractors to help them win work with the federal government. This includes organizational design, process improvement, and policy development. Vericol also helps companies with strategic sales efforts on particular contract opportunities, including market research, solution architecture, and proposal writing.

Data Architecture and Strategy

Vericol offers data architecture and data strategy consulting for commercial companies and government customers. Vericol’s work includes data reconciliation of enrollment data discrepancies between the federal government and insurance companies that participate in the Affordable Care Act/Healthcare.gov. Vericol also works directly with commercial clients to identify opportunities to extract hidden value from their operational and transactional data.

Business Applications for Government Contractors and Professional Services Firms

Vericol is developing a suite of software tools for government contractors, beginning with a sales pipeline management application and a staffing assignment system. Vericol has Beta versions of both applications.

Career Opportunity

Vericol is based in Arlington, Virginia, but at least initially, this position is 100% remote. A couple of caveats: this will be one of Vericol’s first dozen employees. That means it won’t be a “normal” onboarding for the successful applicant, and there will likely be some things to figure out together along the way. While this won’t be the company’s first Associate Consultant, this will be the first person in this specific role. This kind of experience may not be for everybody, but for some people, it could be exciting.
